ATI Tool doing wierd

This is odd.. my current sig rig, I am attempting to OC my GTX 260 C216

ATI Tool latest beta 3 client and EVGA Precision are my tools

So at higher clocks ATI tool seems to run fine.. I can go get coffee and come back 10 minutes later and no errors... Im browsing about on my laptop and I see something flicker out of the corner of my eye.....

I stare at the fuzz cube in ATI Tool for a good 3 minutes. Every once in a while the box flashes yellow, but ATI tool keeps going with "No errors for xx.xx.xx" and doesn't pick it up.....

Should I ignore it? Is it a compatibility issue? Whats up?

the low level driver doesn't work for vista 64. It will show errors such as "Delta blah blah blah" and then reset the whole artifact scan. You have to sit and watch it.

its an artifact, generally single dot artifacts are due to gpu being too high while bigger artifacts are from memory being clocked too high.go to the settings and keep the artifact scanner's bar to one place from extreme left and scan again.
memory artifacts do show up in games,i had weird flickering in L4D when the vram got too hot.sometimes ati tool beeps on a single artifact sometimes it doesn't and i don't think it would show up in any game,i just clock it down for the peace of my mind.

Well I am wondering because I somehow clocked my GTX 260 c216 to some VERY good speeds and its passing ATI tool for a long time

I got 700 core, 1512 shader, 1050 (2100 effective) memory and it runs flawless.... ATI tool runs a smashing 1700+ FPS, I'm wondering what the FPS boost was

Oh and I only stopped cus I ran out of time, I am still going higher on core and shaders
