Like everyone said, you will be able to run that thing forever as long as you keep the temps and voltages down. Don't worry, these chips can get to 4.0GHz without a problem!

Thread Starter
Sounds great, getting excited here. Clockspeed greed getting the better of me

If you know off the top of your head, what voltages, multipliers, etc should I try to get it to 4.0?

Why not? I'm running at 4.0 with 24x7 load (folding).

Damn, I have to stop reading about this damn UD3P and just buy it...

Got the rampage about a month ago if that, but I'm hearing nothing but incredible things about the UD3P.

OP - Get the UD3P, you'll be sorry if you pass it up.

The ONLY negative thing (if you consider it negative) is that in CF it reduces the pcie slots to 8x instead of a full 16x. Just FYI.

You have to use a temperature probe or use a laser thermal sensor.
