Finally reached my goal!

I doubt i could get it stable though, but a validation is all i wanted lol. Tried to run 3dmark, temps were ok, but it got a BSOD about a hardware error. Would that be the CPU or the RAM, or could it be both? Cause i'm trying to break 20,000 on 06 and need this OC to do it.

Whats your voltage? Try pumping a little more ram volts and cpu volts and get back to us

Using a vcore of 1.55v. Idk if going higher would be good for the CPU lol.

RAM is stock 1.9v, and i'm running it at 2.05v with that OC. Not the greatest OCing RAM haha.

Hm. You might have hit the max. Try upping the volts on the ram to 2.1 temporarily

Hmm...no luck. And the NB and MOSFETS are WAY too hot. Maybe I could try again after i get my new cooling for my chipset.

Yeah. It took insane voltage for my quad to run at 4ghz. I think I was at ~1.58v-core.
I was on water though. (not that that makes it much better)
What's the VID on your quad?

EDIT:
And how do you not break 20k? I broke 20 with my GX2 and Quad at 3.8Ghz. I thought the 280 was faster then the GX2?

Oh..well you should be able to do 4Ghz with 1.55 I would say. Maybe it's your temps on the NB/Mosfets that holding you back?
