What can you guys tell me about these headphones. I've been looking for some new closed-back ones for on the go. I never noticed these when looking around before.

Any information is appreciated. Go audiophiles, go.

they look to have some good specs and look to be conformable. i would get them. they can't be that bad for that price. they aren't some teen punk brand like skullcandie.

The K271S, a bit of a predecessor, is an excellent headphone that I still try to recommend whenever appropriate. Among closed headphones under $200, I would estimate the 271S to be near the very top of the spectrum in sound.

It is curious that despite have been out for, at the very least, a few months now, I've seen very little commentary on this headphone. That's as much as I can say for now, seeing as I have not heard this headphone myself.

I don't doubt that they're better than skullcandy, I just want to know if anyone has any experience with them. I love my K701's, so I'm curious about these.

i think they've been out for longer than that. I saw someone mention them on hed fi in February of 08 when I googled them. It's strange I haven't noticed them until now. I'll look more into them. If I end up getting them, I'll be sure to share my experience.

I have a pair of k271s. they are pretty decent. they don't get any use, but I have better cans... not my first choice, but for a closed can would be pretty high up on my list.

They are rather big and a little unsightly for portable use. If you are fine with the 'odd' headband then go for it. The k171s are more suited for portable use and were the best portable cans I've heard. One person that listened to my pair said they were better than the senn hd25, which is a big complement. I did find them uncomfortable though and traded them for the 272s. YMMV
