Thread Starter
Having trouble deciding on what to buy to cool my new QX6850.
Whats the best cooler for under $50. Also has to fit on a Gigabyte GA-EX38-DQ6 board without much conflict.
Please help.
Thanks in advance!

I don't recommend those fans. The motor whines when undervolted.

Thanks for the responses. but I'm trying to stay under $50. If I could afford a true that would be first choice. Any other suggestions or does anyone have a true for sale?

I have the Vendetta 2 and it is a great purchase. It will definately cool the quad you have and is decently priced like the post above me recommends. Though I would definately look to purchase yourself a new fan, cause the one that comes with it isn't that great. Perhaps a Ultra Kaze 2krpm would be great and isn't that expensive. They are priced at Petra's Tech Shop pretty decently. Hope this helped.

just realized that I cant fit a true or some other coolers on this motherboard without taking off the "Crazy Cool" heatpipe design and I really dont want to do that.
