Just Finished ordering the rest of my parts.

Thread Starter
As posted in a previous thread I already have a DTek Fuzion V2 and an XPSC Razor HD4870x2 full coverage block. I just completed my order over at Petras, this is my shopping list:
Laing D4/MCP650 Inline @ 1
12V DC Pump

7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Tygon @15'
R-3603 Laboratory-Grade
Tubing

Herbie Clip® Nylon Hose @6
Clamp Size F - Black

Petra'sTech PT_Nuke @1
Concentrated Biocide
(10mL)

Swiftech MCR-220 "Quiet @2
Power" Series Radiator -
Black

Arctic Cooling MX-2 @1
Thermal Compound (4g)

120mm x 38mm Scythe @2
DFS123812L-2000 "Ultra
Kaze" Case Fan (87.63
CFM/32.91 dBA)

120mm Scythe
SY1225SL12SH @2
"Slip Stream"
Case Fan
(110.31 CFM, 37 dBA)

Danger Den Tubing/T-Line @1
Plug (for 1/2" ID and
7/16" ID tubing)

1/2" OD T-Fitting (for @1
1/2" and 7/16" ID Tubing)

I bought a lot of tubing so If I decide to add another Rad or move stuff around or whatever I will have plenty. I'll probably just use Distilled Water and the PT nuke. I read somewhere that Redline water wetter and PTNuke react with each other and get thick? I was going to go with more powerful scythes but the whole reason I'm going water cooling is not only because of the superior cooling but also the noise reduction and 2 50dba fans is going the wrong way as far as noise is concerned. I'm hoping the 220 Is enough Cooling if not I'll just get another rad and Put it somewhere else... maybe a single 120 Rad between my Video card and my CPU right in the back of the case. Theres 2 120 Fans back there already... The CM Stacker rc810 Is so huge there are so many places to mount stuffs

i would say that you might want some more tubing.. 10' seems like very little to me.. i would say 15'-20'. just in case you muck up. better safe than sorry.

I find that hard to believe. 10 feet can easily wrap around the outside of my case the long way. I'm only doing a single loop with 2 wb's and one rad, I can't see how 10 feet wouldn't be enough... Now if I was cooling my chipset memory mosfets hard drive and psu then sure 10 feet wouldn't be enough. If I run out I can always grab some at home depot. Not the same quality but it will work in a pinch.

you make mistakes.. you don't like how your loop looks anymore.. you want to add blocks, switch blocks, take one out.. anything can happen, i'd rather have an extra bit of tubing than be short and have to wait..

just my 2 cents.

I'm not a "looks" type person when it comes to components. I'm a perfermance enthusiest... yes even though I bought an AMD cpu. So As long as the system Works, and doesn't leak it's not likely that I will be taking it appart any time soon... Except for maybe swapping out the Phenom for a Phenom II. But that wont require dismantling the loop.

I started to get worried about my single rad not being enough cooling power for both my CPU and GPU's So I just placed an order at petra's for another Swiftech MCR220 and 2 Scyth Slip streams the 110cfm ones plus another 5 feet of tygon 7/16 ID tubing. I'll mount one of the rads in the front of my case, and one at the rear outside where the two 120mm case fans exhaust out the back. I'm going to make a standoff for that using some threaded rod and a bunch of nuts. I think we have 3/16" threaded rod at work but I'll have to check...

agreed. I can't imagine using anywhere near 20 ft of tubing unless your radiator is really far away from your computer.... I'm actually still on my first 10 ft lol and I have reconfigured my system many times
