$1000 Gaming rig build - Page 4

Hmm, honestly I don't know if the Velociraptor is worth it. I might get a 640gb and a 1tb. Then I decided I want the antec 1200. I may end up going 750i ftw and gtx 260 or p5q pro and 4870 1gb still deciding. I also am pretty set on the corsair 620hx as I used to have it and I loved it.

BTW alvitran, your links do not work.

I think you meant the regular UD3P, the one you listed is DDR3 and you have DDR2 ram listed. Great build none the less

If I get the P45 mobo, I would probably get the 4870 1gb. But thanks for that build, finally one UNDER budget, but I have to pay tax on newegg(crappy CA) +rep for you.

Here you go and you can substitute the E8500 for a Q6600 they are the same price I just like the dually because it clocks higher on average.

Q6600 would probably be better for me. I might try to see if I can squeeze out the funds to get a Q9550 because that'd be SICK. Also, I gotta pay tax which is liek $70 on $1000 so keep that in mind. However, I am now debating on a 4870 1gb and a 512mb and a 4850

good list hout17 , but i would switch out that tuniq tower with the xigmatek and it will be closer to $1000. Other than that, its a VERY solid build you got. I wish I had a grand to blow on a new PC

edit: noahmateen- go with the 4870 1GB trust me, you will wish you had if you get either of the other 2. plus if you get a 22' monitor, it will be very handy
