Definitely Business. I have 2 (LEGIT) copies of Vista, and I hate them both. Simply because WMP won't leave my .mp3's alone, and it's impossible to stop it.

I never knew changing file associations would be impossible...but it's finally come to this.

Time to go back to the old, slow XP?

Not sure if you were trying to imply that the "Free" copies I am refering to are legit. But they are I go to school for interactive design & game development and they are offered to me through a deal with my school and MS for download.(or $15 for the boxed version) I stay away from pirated software like the plague

I've been running XP pro 64 for 6 months and haven't had an OS issue or a driver issue. That said I would definitely go Vista if I had to do it again. The SP1 seems to have solved a lot of the pragmatic complaints folks had with it.

Well, Looks like you made up your mind. Business is a good option, and if you don't like it, your not out anything and you can get Premium, but I don't think you will miss any of the extras that Premium has over Business since you have your own video software.

I'm running enterprise and it's more than enough. All those extra features aren't all that useful (at least for me). If you need the media center software and so forth you'll need Home Premium though.
