Building Intel system - need suggestions!

Thread Starter
hi, am trying to build a new comp for myself (growing tried of this dell crap)

the system is below and i was hoping if anyone would know that this is gonna be a good rig, so was just wonder what i can improve on it.

am thinking of changing the motherboard because its kinda expensive and i dont need tri sli (using one card anyways)

this system will not overclock much, even tho some of the parts are made for overclocking, i personally want my comp to live a very long time so i choose not to overclock, but when time comes i will.

my budget on this is around 2,000USD max 2,500USD
am getting everything from newegg.

thanks for reading and helping.

Get a tri-channel memory kit. They are designed for the the X58 motherboards. Get a 3x2GB kit like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231225

You'll need 3 sticks of DDR3.

You can easily get a decent overclock without effecting longterm stability. Might as well get the most out of your hardware.

ok since everyone suggests tri-channel then ill start looking for it, mean while is there another motherboard that is good and cheaper? >.>

and am probably just gonna overclock very little, its ok if the graphic is not on max as long as it doesnt lag xD

and i build the big computer so it will last forever and only needs to upgrade once afew years.
