Stress tool other than Atitool?

Thread Starter
Is there some other tool like Atitool that tell me when artifacting starts? Atitool has been playing up lately(giving artifact message at the starting itself when Furmark ran fine for 4 hours).

I have nothing to contribute (yet) to your question, but I do have a question of my own: What the HELL is Furmark? Seriously, is it a program or a typo (I'm really not trying to be an ass here).

Heh, it's after 2 am here and I've been working for 12 hours; I didn't feel like searching just then. Thanks for the heads up, though. The first time I read your post, I read it as "Futurmark", the makers of 3DMark.

Also, just because the tool runs doesn't mean you aren't getting artifacts. You may very well be experiencing them, but it usually won't cause a game or anything to crash.

Furmark
Just know that it really really stresses your card and you will see pretty high temps I think it definitely is the definitive answer whether your card is stable or not. Watch your temps when using this.

Edit: Sorry didn't see you already are using furmark.

Yeah, from what I can tell your card can run perfectly stable but still give you artifacts that you may not be able to detect.

folding@home GPU2 seems to stress cards in ways that other tests don't, cards which pass the usual tests can fail in minutes under folding

you used furmark for 4 hours?! i don;t think i'd be comfortable leaving it running for that long. Games get my card at HOTTEST 58C, furmark is the only thing that gets my card super hot about 68C i wouldn't wanna leave my card like taht for 4 hours :S
