Boy shot his mom to death because they took his Halo3 away - Page 3

Well the news thread got closed, so hopefully we can keep it clean here.

This isn't Halo's fault. It's the kids own **** fault for being a freaking idiot, and having no idea the consequences of his actions.

This type of thing boils down to one issue in my mind. All these kids nowadays are so freaking spoiled and get whatever they want that when they can't have something or get disciplined they have no idea how to act.

The kid was 16 at the time, he should have already had the morals to know better so it isn't the games fault. I've got to say it's the parents fault here. Not because they took the game away but clearly because they never listened to the kid so they never actually knew who he was. They probably gave him whatever he wanted so they didn't have to hear his mouth or his temper tantrums. Which that cycle began at a young age more then likely.

And the question has to be asked, why was the kid able to get the gun. They make gun safes with locks to be locked for a reason. Which the dad should have hid the keys better, and the safe. And the dad did the right thing by taking the game away since he didn't give permission for his son to buy it in the first place.

The sad thing is that this isn't that uncommon anymore, seems like at least a few times a year this kind of incident happens.

Another day in America, that's all I can say. Our society is so screwed up over here it isn't even funny. Honestly I'm ashamed of America anymore.
