5.1 setup, £200 - £300

Hi guys i need to buy something for crimbo, im looking into audio.

I have seen the z5500's and look ok, but havent heard them personally. I then decided to look into amps and speakers allowing me to upgrade when i fancy/afford it.

I shall be using this on 360, HD movies and music.

Any ideas or things i should look at?
Got someone that can get me Onkyo 7.1amp and JBL speakers for £400 but i feel this is a bit too much to spend considering i dont have a massive TV or anything like that yet.

Yeah im looking for some real quality, ie can turn it up and wont hurt my ears with distortion.

Atm i have some old creative 5.1's and they are really at the end of their life span.

I will be using on, PC, 360 and TV.

Well for the price of the z-5500's compared to getting your own system, i dont think you will be disappointed

Get some optical cable and use that for your xbox and use the standard cable for your pc.

This Tannoy SFX package seems to be liked as a budget surround package, paired with the Onkyo (Which model) it'd most likely show the Z5500's the door.

EDIT:

The Tannoy package + an Onkyo TXSR506 (5/7.1) - £322.93

Yeah, I work in an electronics store, and Onkyo is really the best bang for your buck.
