But the question im asking is, are your $275 better spent at Intel???

Not on i7.

Believe it or not, intel makes more CPU's than the i7.

Could you provide some proof for me on this? this is the first i've heard of this and i can't find anything saying that online. I'm no master of the internet so i may have looked it over somewhere.
But there are roughly 600 more pins of the i7 chips, i don't understand how 775's would work in a 1336 socket.
thx

As I've stated countless times now... I do not want an i7. I am evaluating Q9xxx and Phenom 2. Why is that so hard for you all to comprehend, when your obviously very well versed of the intricacies in hardware?

I don't want a Core i7!

For the 3rd time, I am comparing Phenom 2 with the Q9xxx. Yorkfield. NOT Nehalem.

X48 mobo, Q9xxx CPU, 4 GB of on sale high performance DDR2 RAM, and IMO all that will be same price as a Phenom 2 build, on an AM3 mobo. AM2+ is DEAD right???

If I'm wrong, tell me!

With either build, I'm throwing a 4870 on there to accompany my 4870x2 for 3 GPU's. I call that "Crossfire Y", instead of X.

ALSO, are any for the AMD chipsets as good at Crossfire as the famous X48 chipset is? X48 chipset is over 20% faster in Crossfire configurations!
Because you're spouting off junk when we're telling you otherwise.

You are not making sense because
1. Your English is slightly out of whack.
2. You don't have your facts straight because AM3 chips are backward compatible with AM2+ motherboards but LGA1366 is NOT compatible with LGA775.
3. You're trying very hard to fight against people who obviously know this stuff better than you and the elitist prick attitude is simply not helping your case.

To end this slightly berating post, I would like to top it off with the following statement:
WhiteCrane is a pretty cool guy huh. eh speaks his mind and doesn't afraid of anything.
