Is 20A on the 12V rails enough for two HD 4870x2?

Hi guys,

I have an old 1000w psu with 20amps on each of the 4 rails. Do you guys think this is enough to run two HD 4870x2 in crossfire with some water cooling and cathodes?

Thanks a lot..

With a QX6850 as well, I take it? That's really pushing it.

You have a total of 70A on your +12v rails. It will be fine for that setup... not sure about the quality of the unit though.
Once again...

The 4870x2 has 2 power plugs: one 6pin and one 8pin; put the 6pin on one rail, the 8pin on other rail, the CPU on other rail (the 8pin mobo connector) and on the fourth rail the ATX connector and the rest of things. I reckon it should work, but pay attention to the rail load balancing.
