RMA question

I had to rma my MB,newegg just sent me a email and it says RMA type: repair. Then it shows all the other stuff. Does this mean I didnt get a replacment?
Ive never RMD-ed anything so........

Did you already send it off? You could put a mark on the board with a sharpie somewhere and you'd be able to find out whether or not you got the same board back.

If it's deemed improbable to repair i'm sure you'd get a new one.. if they need to do something simple you're liable to get the same one back but fixed hopefully.

Youll probably get a recertified or open box back. When you RMA through the manufacturer thats how it is.

I don't think Newegg would go to through the trouble of trying to repair a product. That would be the manufacturer's duty. I'm almost certain you should get a replacement.

Yeah,I sent it off last week.I didnt think to mark it tho. That piss me off because i didnt buy a repaired board,i bought a new one. Maybe a repaired one will work better seeing as they will check everything
