Don't mean to jack DD's thread, but htf do you run Vista without using Appdata? that's a new one on me.

Just a little reminder. If you use the 180.84 drivers with xp you get 0% usage on your cores, which will give the option of running smp on your cpu along side your gpu clients for even moar ppd.

QFT.

DD, it don't matter how bad the display looks, if you have a gimpy ass monitor, or a dummy plug hooked up, the GPU is just looking for a resistance out on the port to verify that the card should be running.

quite interesting.... now then about that picture..

it creates two folders right? Folding@home and Folding@home-gpu. where the Folding@home-gpu is inside the first folder. make a copy of Folding@home-gpu and rename it to Folding@home-gpu1. or whatever you might want to call it. you'll need the cudart.dll inside those folders. after that, start with the second gpu and set it up. add -gpu 1 and change the machine ID to something other than 1 and 2. repeat for the first one but add -gpu 0 and you don't need to touch machine ID.

Oh well

DD the second monitor will NOT all of the same stuff as the main/active monitor (at least mine never have)

Don't worry about it, everything works off of the main display anyway.

haha, i'll check my appdata and see if anything is there...

EDIT: haha.. yeap.. nothing is there.

i found out that it was because when you started up GPU2 with installation.. it tends to drop your work, queue, myfolding, config, unitinfo files/folders in appdata... but by just copying the initial folder in programfiles then uninstalling and taking it back to to programfiles, i didn't have to deal with appdata anymore.
