don't bother opening the viewer.. it kills your ppd.. right click on the icon and hit configure.

EDIT: hold on, i'll do a screen shot step by step.

I need to add that to the file extension...hmmm talk about noob. ok so I will try it again...it looks like you typed more then just -GPU1 and -GPU2 though...what exactly do I need to add?
look at the shortcuts from my prev post.

Each one points to a different copy of Fah, each one is in it's own sub-directory. the easiest way is to delete your existing shorcuts and make a new on from each client location.

After you have made your new shortcuts, right click on each one and rename it with a unique name.

After they are renamed, THEN add the flags for each as required -gpu0 etc.

Giving verbatim locations would only work if he put his clients in exactly the same place you did...

BTW, it looks like he's using the systray version, nothing wrong with that, but don't open the viewer...bad karma...lol

you're using the same client as me.. i'll give you instruction now...

EDIT:

you don't need the ones that say -cpu.. i did it for my quad but those flags don't work and i've been lazy to take them out.

i think it just gets really hard to do with so many clients just for gpu2.. people aren't sure whether they have systray or console and it gets confusing as people think its one or another. :\\

but i know what i handed to DD. so i know what needs to be done. with systray, you don't need to deal with shortcuts.

Trying to re-edit the shortcuts is harder than making new ones...

What naf is showing DD about putting the flags in the config box is the easiest. The systray viewer sucks, but it is much easier to set up than the console, at least until you become more familiar with the options.
