New thermal paste

Whats up guys Si i have been reading.

So i just bought an AC freezer 7 pro And it did not come with themal pad. (I also poilshed to a mirrior with automotive compunds and a dreml and a buff pad)

So okay i go toi radio shack and as5 is 20$ bucks so i say hell no

Look around and found this form So I decides to try something new

Plumbers Putty It say it will never dry out Seems Good.
I also had some carbon for my fish. so i kneed it with my hands and some CARBON dust. Place a house files amouant on my cpu

Hers some specs

room temp 25c

Case temp 25c with one side off

E2180 cpu clock to 2.75 Planning to go to 3.00+

cpu temp 49/50c 25 min into prime 95

Both cores at 46c

ALL VIA BIOS

i can not get a a good reaing via probe 35c maz touching the coopper block

Nice job with the home made thermal paste. I would say hell no to $20 AS5 too!

Next time you want to use thermal paste that won't dry out, and you don't want to make it yourself, you can buy Arctic MX-2 or Tuniq TX-2!

Okay new settings

i got it over clocked to 3.05ghz I am doing a burn in with p95 Lot o heat mode Had to bump up v care to 1.35(is this to much)

I will know how stable it is in 8 hours But she is running good so far

By the way here are the new temps

Room 21.6 c

Case 23.7c (Side pannel off, I have to mod Cpu vent)

Load @ 57/58c

Both cores 53/54c

What do you think about temps ??

For me, I use a homemade concoction of toothpaste (I recommend Sensodyne-F) and Vaseline. Mix it up all together and if you did it right, it should be a very dense consistency and still white. Vaseline should be the main component because it does not evaporate nor dry out. The only flaw of it is that after a year or so of use, it turns brown.

fill in your system specs and location, otherwise for all I know you live in alaska and it's -10c outside and your temps are actually high for where you live.
