Aww, I was gonna post that.

That aside, this has me thinking about the Blood Rage again. Saaya had said several times the B.R., as I'll call it, is optimized for Quad-SLI with 2 dual-GPU cards. What I want to know is how much better a pair of GTX-295s would run on a B.R. compared to, say, a P6T Deluxe.

Doubt it though. But I hope they release sideport or whatever it is called soon.
It could happened but unlikely. It because even it they improve the drivers 4870X2 still would not be fast enough since most of the games are nvidia optimized. Also GTX295 is more of like GTX260 core 240 SLI which does perform better then 4870X2.

Nice card

I can smell HD4870X2 dropping to $399 or $449 at most

the fastest single graphic card ? It's more like the hottest sandwich. That's not a single card.
I like how the card looks anyway. Hopefully it doesn't have the shutter thing like other x2 card has.

It's a single graphics card, they didn't say single-PCB. Like how the 4870x2 is not the fastest GPU, currently the GTX280 is.

They still do have the fastest single graphics card. The GTX 280. No matter what both the 4870x2 and the GTX295 are dual cards.

Yeah GTX295 unlike X2 uses 2 cards in a sandwich but it is still in one PCIE lane so Nvidia say it a single card. Though i personally dont like their strategies.

It is a single card mr ATI red ranger just as much as your 4870X2 but with 2 PCB. its just not a single GPU, which Nvidia wins there at the moment as well. i would definitely LOL if ATI pulled a fast one and released the drivers to activate that side port thing making it somehow match the performance of this new card.
It's funny how people say the HD4870x2 is not a single card, and now they call this a single card.
