What drivers do you use for your GPUs?(Nvidia) - Page 3

post #21 of 28
When I installed the latest drivers of video card, my performance went higher like 10%, and I was really surprised about it. Sometimes, older drivers are better, it's just all about your video card.

Im trying out the 180.60 Beta for XP right now.
F@H has only been running for a few min and i already like it. 0% CPU usage is great.
Looks like its using less memory also.
PPD dropped by 100 or so. That's acceptable for not using CPU clocks.

i have some results for vista x64 and some drivers

180.48 = 4308.78PPD

180.60 = 4365.47PPD

181.00 = 4365.47PPD

these were taken off my 8800GT. so there was a slight improvement with 180.60 and 181.00 compared to 180.48.

i'll give 177.92 a try too and see which is better. be back in a bit.

yep it looks to me like the 180.60 drivers are the best by far for multi-GPU folding on XP.
0 CPU usage means you can fold on your CPU's as well.

That is my next step although after what I went through last night to get multi-GPU set up I might hold off for a while lol. Special thanks go out to nafljhy and Digger for the help, I couldn't have done it without you!
