OK this is my question,I currently have my cpu oced to 3.85 on auto with the ram linked.now the ram linked start ocing at 1066 ends up at like 1400 something.
Now i tried to oc manually and unlink the ram and cpu i got it to 3.75 with the ram and cpu both at 1765,my question is which oc is better, and which is faster with better performance?

Your question was a bit difficult to understand... please answer these Qs for me:
1) what do you mean by OCing on auto?
2) have you toyed around with the linked ram divider setting?

I'll try to answer your questions according to what I can interpret: CPU clocks are ALWAYS more important than memory... 3.85GHz w/ the ram @ 1400MHz is quite a bit better than 3.75GHz with the ram @ 1765MHz... however, I don't see how it's not possible to keep your maximum attained CPU overclock and maximum attained RAM overclock using RAM dividers

Also, are you making sure to verify all your overclocks with Memtest and Prime95? 1765MHz from 1333MHz ram seems a tad surprising (then again, I don't know DDR3 very well)

By auto, I think he meant he overclocked with all settings left to auto eg. Vcore. And I agree with the aforementioned, your question is hard to understand, and go with the one that has higher frq. on CPU.

Yes OCing on auto means im using the auto settings in the bios for the voltages,i just linked the cpu and ram,and increased the fsb and i get 3.852 and runs great.
Now i also OCed manually to see what i can get.Now when i oc using linked my ram starts at 1066,when i oc using unlinked it starts at 1333,i dont know why.So when i do the unlinked i match the ram and cpu at 1765 and im at 3.75,and my pc runs great.
So my question is which is better?I here that when the cpu and ram are exact in frequency that it is good,so any suggestions are good.
