Whats your powersupply to power that monster machine?

Why 8 gigs of ram....thats prolly where you get instability from??

Up the northbridge voltage and then....

if you have the money which seems evident...just get a better cpu

Well so far so good, about 5 minutes into Prime95 with everything stable at those speeds 1.45v getting about 60c in max load

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=465183

it bombed on me at 3.6 at 1.45 tho.

Yeah why 8 gigs of ram?
[looks down at own sig rig]

I had to increase my NB voltage from 1.45v to 1.49v with my own setup running a 423 FSB with my Q6700. I also had to up the vdimm from 1.8v to 1.94v (the ram is rated for 2.1v, so it wasnt an issue).

I got my second set on sale for $79.99 and couldnt pass it up either. Ram is getting so cheap, it makes sense to just grab what you can and max out the system.

well if your serious about keeping a over clock thats running you to 60c all day i would....

Invest in a TRUE or watercooling if you have the funds.

Still didnt say what the power supply was....UPDATE YOUR SIG
