We've just received Foxconn's Blood Rage motherboard - and we've churned out a first look at it as fast as possible. We will, of course, be going through this interesting motherboard in greater detail in our upcoming X58 motherboard roundup.


The Blood Rage is quite the good looker. Aesthetics aside though, Foxconn has gone down a slightly different path with the Blood Rage.

I like that it takes 775 coolers only 3 slots for RAM makes me sad though

Yes, but those three slots have massive overclocking potential. Put in 3x2GB sticks, and you are laughing.

but it it'll OC higher than other boards.. i recall a test already been done about it.

Since awesome color schemes can't compensate for any lousy performance, it's a good thing that this board is also a solid performer... so far.

Why is that? You only need 3 slots for Tri-channel, 3x2GB and you're set.

i think 9 gb's of ddr3 ram is more than enough!

also, are there any sata/molex ports on the board so that you can power the gpu's that you use?

I think I will be using this on my 2009 build to go along with dual 4870x2's + Corsairs red bling ram....If I can manage to car jack someone and turn in a decent profit.
