Thread Starter
I have and AMD 6000+ CPU with stock cooling. Is there any kind of software to increase the fan speed.

Thanks before hand.

you can probably increase the speed in bios, i have no experience of your motherboard so i dont know what settings are available to you, it'll probably be set on some sort of auto setting at the moment but you should be able to manually set it to a specific speed, have you had a look in BIOS?

EDIT: yeah I googled your MB and it looks like you have Qfan on that board, this basically monitors CPU temp and adjusts fan speed acordingly, go into BIOS disable Qfan and set it to whatever manual setting you want- normally measured in %, (e.g 80% )

I came across a program called SpeedFan 4.37 using google. This might be what you're looking for.

Through the BIOS.

SpeedFan is a temperature monitoring program, not a fan controlling one.

Actually according to the website http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php it does control fan speeds in addition to monitoring temps but the bios would probably do a better job.

just disable cool and quiet in hardware monitoring area in bios....

and try setting the fan start voltage = 6.0 v

fan start temp - the lowest

fan full speed temp = the lowest..
