Speedfan does control system fans, but only if supported by the motherboard. The only board I've had that actually worked with speedfan was an old S939 DFI board. Doesn't work with my current board or any other board I've tried it on

OP--if you want to run your CPU fan at max speed all the time, disable thermal fan control in the BIOS (if there is the option).

If you really want to ensure the cpu fan is spinning at max, here's my suggestion: get a 3-pin fan-to-molex adapter, connect a different case fan to the cpu fan header on the mobo (because most mobo's need a fan connected to the cpu fan header to allow the computer to boot up), and connect the cpu fan to the molex connector. That will run the fan at max speed no problem. Or you could try using a different 3-pin fan header on the motherboard (make sure the cpu header is occupied though).

last week i saw a website that have instructions on how to increase the cpu fan and it was how to do the fan from 4 pin to 3 pin. I think i'm going to do it but i can't find the site again :/ The wires are 1 black, 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 blue.

Any1 know what i can do? THX
