id drop that q9300, and grab an e5200 + 9600gso/hd4830/8800gt
also, id drop that corsair to the 450w version.. and why 2 hard drives?
LOL! Your so funny.....NOT! The OP plays older games so why spend more money on a better video card...waste of money when it can be spent on a better quad processor....OP did post he wants to spend about $800.00ish!...Needless to say he can make any adjustments from whatever other members post here.....OP did say he does video stuff which the Quad will be useful for... so before you post your sarcastic remarks read what the OP said.... anyone who does video encoding knows that using 2 hard drives is useful compared to using one large hard drive....

read the op again

he said " light video editing ". noob.

why would u need a q9300 for light video editing

a dual core is more than enough for light video editing, unless he plans on doing some serious 3dmodeling, then a quad is nice.
