How about fixing the random crashes to desktop during single player? Stupid programmers. Having to go through the process of saving every 5 minutes is annoying... Makes me not want to explore and instead just do the main missions to finish the game.

haha, my favorite part of the game was when i saw a zebra walk onto a rock and start hovering. after rising 10 meters into the air it fell back onto the ground and it started walking of on its merry way..... then i shot it

i used to have problems with the crashes to desktop when i was playing in DX10 mode. once i switched to DX9 mode, i could play for hours w/o a crash. and DX9 mode added a lil flare to the grass that DX10 didn't - which i thought was odd since DX10 should have more effects. oh well, beat the game and it's not something i want to play again :/

Anyone else notice the new "Widescreen" option under graphics? It makes things look more natural in terms of aspect ratio, but the model of the player's arm creeps into the picture when holding a two-handed weapon and the arm is simply modeled as a rectangle. No detail at all. Made me go back to normal view to avoid the Nintendo 64-esque arm. Also, it seems as though objects aren't gradually introduced in the distance like before, but they seem to just appear at a certain range a la BF2. Since the game still crashes in single player mode, and nothing new has been added, this patch is worthless to me.

DX10 does have more effects. The disappearing grass is a known symptom of DX10, though.

lol the zebra flys once more... lol... talk about bugs, when i got into a vehicle during the benchmark it just looks like i was moving along the grass really fast
