Problem with image files

I was trying to get my friend to play Final Fantasy XI with me and he sent me these pics of the game. I'm not sure whats causing it but it just looks like all the 3D skins are being placed randomly. Help please

It looks to me as if he has overclocked his video card too far, or there is a problem. He could dl the atitool, and run the artifact tester too see. It will work even if he does not have a ati card...

That is not from artifacts, its just corrupted data. Reboot and start the game again it will probably all be gone.

I had this happen to me in WOW also, it was a driver issue. He may need to update videocard drivers and maybe even motherboard bios. Make sure the game has all current patches too. Make sure he has current drivers and let me know what card he has.

Hes got an 8800 gts, just updated drivers and its still displaying wrong
post #7 of 7
Hmm, that is weird. When I was still playing FFXI I didn't get any weird glitches like that, and I have an 8800GTS. Could it be a problem with the card itself? Does it do anything like that to any other games?
