Onboard won't leave me be.

I just installed an X-Fi xtrememusic sound card and I have disabled onboard sound. Every time I boot up it tells me it detects a new device and wants me to install drivers. Is there a way to make this stop?

what is the new device?

Did you disable onboard sound in the BIOS or OS/

I disabled it in the OS.

It is "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus".

I haven't been able to figure out which setting it is in the bios. Nothing has a name that seems to be it.

Go into device manager if you see the onboard device, disable it. And enable the X-Fi.
