Ordering in ~1 hour-please look - Page 11

Okay, I opened up what you had on your link in the opening post. I did not read all the pages since you're going to order soon.

Here is what I would take out in order of importance.

1) Windows vista. Need I say more?

2) OCZ Freeze - > Use Arctic 5 instead since your HSF is the Xiggy.

3) The Asus 4870. It's Asus, stay away, end of story. Get a better brand with a better vapor chamber cooler on it.

4)G skill ram. It does not OC well, you're buying the e8400 Wolfdale. I know you're going to OC, get better ram like Mushkin or some other brand that OC's well.

Very nice build. You're going to enjoy it.

And the 900 is a great case. Got mine for $59.99 on Black Friday, and I'm SO glad I did. ALOT of room to work with, and some pre-cut holes to hide cables behind the motherboard tray.
He'll only save 5 bucks after rebate and the Asus has a better cooler, however, you really can't go wrong with either...

one thing about that fan controller is very bright leds, which can be a problem if you sleep in the same room as your pc (and leave it on at night). Other than that, mine works well

Only thing I would say is; if you're picky about how you sound on a mic; try and get input from somebody who has used it!

I was dissapointed when I dropped money on the Fatality Gaming headset, to find out it's mediocre quality. If you are going through with the MIC, let me know how it sounds I almost picked it up 3 different times.

That really is a nice build. And you can always add on later down the road; as far as a fan here or there, a soundcard "if" you're not impressed with onboard. Drivers are getting alot better now that Vista is more Mature.

Nope, newegg carry's fans meant for enthusiasts. The better server fans need to be ordered from other sites.

Hmmm, aside from them being ASUCKS.

1) Their video cards need the version of their "Asus" drivers instead of letting the user use the ATI ones.
2) Most of them need a bios flash to work properly.
3) They have errors up the wazoo, do a google search if you don't believe me.
