A friend has the same usb mic, I dont see any advantages(his does not sound any better) over a cheap 3.5mm jack plug mic, unless you use onboard sound for 5.1 and short of mic sockets

Everything is generally ok, but, of course, I have a few "personal" opinions...
Don't like 22" LCD's in general, most are 16.2mil colors, not 16.7, they cheat and this can cause poor quality playback if you watch a movie or video, I'd rather have a good 20" over a poor 22".

Your better off with a single 4870 over a 4850X2, there will be situations where the X2 doesn't work and your stuck using a single side of the 4850, with a single 4870, you don't have those issues.
this would be my choice.

And the guys are right about the sound card, that one really is no better than good on-board sound, however... with a good sound card, on-board doesn't even come close, you can leave it out for now and add one later.

with the money you save on the video card, get a better CPU, even over clocked, a 5xxx series will become a liability much sooner than a 8xxx or even 9xxx quad.

As for fans, if you don't need "bling" get these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185006
they are quiet, extremly quiet, push a ton of air, and last a long time, I have 8-10 of these in different builds and they are fantastic.

I'd get this Sapphire and save a few bucks.

Very nice build. You're going to enjoy it.

And the 900 is a great case. Got mine for $59.99 on Black Friday, and I'm SO glad I did. ALOT of room to work with, and some pre-cut holes to hide cables behind the motherboard tray.
