Skip the 3850 pci card and go for a high end gpu. Maybe a 9800GT.

Sounds good mate. Got that ram, but the CL5 good stuff. Would argee with korben about the PSU, corsair have a great rep, getting one myself soon.

Only suggestion is that if your not going to be overclocking, get a cheaper board. Oh, also managed to get a larger HD for the same price. WD 640gb blue cost me £45

Well, they're overpriced for a reason.

ANY build deserves a good, quality power supply.

That's the single most important component in a computer. Don't skimp out on it.

I agree, don't skimp out on the PSU! Corsair PSUs are actually pretty reasonably priced for the performance and could easily save you from a load of power related headaches. There's few things more frustrating than trying to troubleshoot a computer that has all kind of stability issues associated with an under/poorly performing PSU. Plus if it's really bad you can lose hardware.

The HD4830 would be a much better choice for a video card, and many have a fair amount of overclocking headroom that can net performance close to a 4850.
