Listen to this post. ^^^^^ He is right. The rest of you are wrong. Get a 8500gt with GDDR2 and call it a night. Plenty of power to run high def, and uses very little power.

EDIT - or that 4350 looks good too. Perfect for HD content.

No, it didn't run 1080p lol, that was just normal tv or 720p maybe 1080i (not sure about that one).

The GPU on that doesn't have the capabilities encode 1080p.

Just so you know, its not untill the 8 series or the ATI 2000 series do video cards have 1080p encoding abilities.
