Not really. If you want a pump/res combo, I would go for a DDC pump with a res top.

Not really... flow rate is a bit low and head is low.

Also submerged pumps dump all of their heat into the loop.

I second dennisC's idea of getting the DDC3.2 with a Res Top and you will not only have an extra bay but your whole loop will be MUCH stronger and that is good for your temps
