P5D-N and E6850 question!

Hey guys really new to overclocking and have a question. Well i went into bois and changed my FSB to 1600 and changed it to unlinked. Not sure what any of this does really.. I figured i'd have to change alot more to make my proccessor go 3.6ghz, but I didn't. Anyhow my question is... whenever windows boots and my welcome screen comes up it shoes my two cores... 3.0ghz and 3.6ghz. Why in the world is only one core overclocked? I can give any information neccessary. My temps are 49-50c.... and I read that that's ok.

what program are you using to check the overclock? Also you might want to go back in and set the bios to default. The only thing you should change first is the FSB.

Its not possible to OC just one core. I think I know what you are looking at. Windows is showing you the stock frequency and then the OC frequency.

the first number is the processor speed and the second is your oc speed.
