Help with Koolance Temp Probe - Page 2

Ok, so I put a meter across it and it looks like it's hitting about 42k Ohms which equates to about 28C and the Biostar temp gauge is saying 26C right now and my 8800GT (with a wc block) is at 30C so I'm guessing that's about right.

So some sort of mismatching? Any other ideas?

How many ohms is it across the temp probes that came with the scythe controller?
Do both temp probes have the same coefficient (positive or negative temperature coefficient)?

Looking at the Scythe website, all I see about the thermometer is:
Temperature Module Channel 4
Temperature Range 0 ~ 100°C / 32 ~ 199,9°F
Measurement Frequency Every 2 Seconds

It lists the supply voltages for the controller of fans and a lot that way, but nothing about how it reads the temp.
Does anyone know anything about these? Thanks!
