The TLB bug is an inherent problem with the current generation of integrated memory controllers on quad core processors.
That's why Phenom has it but not AMD 64s (AMD 64s have an integrated memory controller but 1 or 2 cores) and why I7 has it but not Core 2 (the memory controller on a Core 2 is on the northbridge).

I think even current generation Phenoms (xx50)have it to a degree just it's been minimized to the degree where it's as if it's not there at all.

Er, no.

Every x86 CPU has a TLB. Phenom I's problem with TLB was the handling of L3 cache.

Core 2/i7's TLB problems reside in the memory management unit (nothing to do with memory controllers) performing out of specifications. If handled correctly they're okay.
