oky doky, ram is set at 1075, seems stable, but even before i set the ram to 1075, it was running stable at 1178 and f@h was folding fine..it just does it randomly!

The new work units are VERY hard on the GPU. They put much more strain on the card, and add more heat. You are probably not stable with the new work units. I bet now that you have backed off, you should be OK.

Also, what are the load temps for the card? I have heard of people having stability issues when the card gets ~70C.

hmm with 40% fan, barely audible, card runs at bout 70C while folding.
