Thread Starter
Hi all, i just wanted to know what you all think of my 3DMark06 bench, is it:
* Ok
* Good
* Bad
* Terrible
etc.

It's the highest i have had so far, my original was 14,544...

Now it's.... 15,598

Just tested today as i havent done it since my overclock to 3.6ghz

Please give me your thoughts

All comments welcome and appreciated

Is your 4870 at stock? You should be able to break 16,000.

Im amazed that your 4870 isn't giving you as much as i would think. I get 14,000 and you have a quad which generally gets another 1.5-2K points in the CPU section, which means your 4870 is getting around the same as my 8800GT

You should quite easily.

For comparison my 9850 BE overclocked to 3.4GHz with one 4870 512MB card @ 850/1130 gives me 16,327. Heck you might even get 17,000 or close to it.

My previous system was a q6600 at 3.6ghz and I was getting 19501 (or close to that)
I will check for the screenshot at home later. But I had the 9800gx2 But I would think with the hardware you have you should be able to get higher. I think my old e6300 with sli 8800gts was 16,000 ish... have you got the new drivers and make sure you are using 1280x1024 res and not cranked res. to compare scores.

I was using 1680x1050

Is that why it's lower than you have all said?
