CPU WC temp info

Thread Starter
I have my Q9550 OCed to 3.4 with an idle temp of about 46c-50c and a load temp of 75c-85c depending on the temp of my apartment. I have a HAF932 case with the radiator at the top next to the 240mm fan at the top of my case and the reservoir(for some stupid reason) was placed right next to my 3 GTX280s. So I have two Questions.

1. Are my cpu temps ok, or should i worry??

2. Are the GPU's heating up my res and adding more heat to the liquid???

those temps dont sound right, the cards could be causing issues, but you also might have bubbles in your loop or not seated the waterblock correctly What kind of rad are you using, and with what fans?

It would help us if we could see what is in your rig...Go into your userCP and edit your rig info so we can see

I would say you have a huge problem if you are on water with those idle temps...did you remember to use thermal paste?

What they said. Question, however - what are your temps when you first fire up the rig after being left off overnight? (go right into the BIOS and look there..)

You should move your reservoir away from the 2 video cards. Let the system cool down and then test to see if that has an effect. Worst case is it wont help, best case it will at least partially solve your problem.

sounds to me like you need to rework you whole loop. This is one of the problems with buying a prebuilt loop. Now you have to learn how to uninstall it and reinstall it right. You will need some TIM. You might be able to save your fluid though. I would take it out and think about the placement more, a reinstall should get your temps down more then 20c.

What pump, block, radiator, and fans are you using? What is your ambient temp?
