Computer running very slow

Thread Starter
I dont know why my computer has been slow lately. I vacuumed it out a week ago but I dont think that caused the problem. It takes for ever to load up firefox and games are lag more than before. Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I didnt see a section for basic computer questions.

There can be a lot of reasons why your computer is lagging (slowing) beside the obvious W$ndows on the computer. Do you have a lot of software installed on the computer? How about programs installed at startup? When was the last time you defragged your drive?

Defragment?
Yes it's AMD.

yeah. that what defragging does, but I am willing to bet that it does not make much of a difference. I would first check to see what you have running at startup first and go from there.
