My Q9400 rocks but it needs 1.45v to do 3.7ghz stable but never goes over 65c on any core

Q9400 of course, that's a no brainer. Why spend that much money on a 2-year old 65nm quad that runs hotter and not much faster...? Plus, regarding the previous comment about oc'ing vs. not oc'ing--i don't see why it would matter. The q9400 can likely oc quite well.

Lower L2 cache equal slightly slower for the q9400 but damn, I got my q6700 and 4gigs of RAM for just 251usd. Honestly, the higher L2 cache is the reason why the 12mb yorks are the fastest C2Qs right?

Q8200 is as fast and sometimes faster than the Q6600 at stock.So it really has nothing to do with L2 cache
