New Build to replace Ltar needs a mobo

I'm building a new computer from scratch and giving my current rig (sans aftermarket cooling and HDD's) to a family member. Price around 600, but I'm flexible. What I'm looking for is a solid single GPU mobo for OC, but I don't really know where to start.

Here's what I have so far. Suggestions are welcome for any component.

CPU:

Phenom x4 9600 Black

-I'm considering throwing for a Phenom 9850. Could I OC the 9600 to make up the difference, if I'd OC the 9850 anyways? Cooling is an AC Freezer 64 Pro. If I'm missing out on some crazy-value OCer's chip from AMD, lemme know.

GPU:

HD 4870, planning to OC with my HR-03 GT

Mobo:

-Help me on this one. I have a T-Force 550SE on my current build but I'm having trouble OCing with it, stuck at 2.76 on my opty 1216.

Criteria for selection:

-OC-Friendly
-Crossfire not necessary
-Budget (don't want to spend more than 700 on this build, targeting 600)

I'm Considering--

-BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX -- I like the Biostar Bios and use a TForce now, although I admit to being somewhat unhappy with it. Reviews on newegg suggest this board will OC a lot better than the TForce I have now. Anyone own it?

$63 on newegg, open box

What's the difference between the 790GX and the 790GX3?

-Foxconn A79A-S -- $104 after $60.00 rebate on newegg, It's got the SB750 with the 790FX northbridge. I'm leaning towards this, if the rebate sticks around.

-GIGABYTE GA-MA770-DS3P -- I'm building on a budget. Going with a 1 generation old chipset seems like a reasonable compromise. Several friends use Gigabyte.

PSU:

HIPER Type R II HPU-5K680 680W

-I'm quite happy with my Corsair 520W and would like to get another one, but I'm not sure that will be enough power. 4870's draw a lot more than X1950's, and I'll be overclocking. Comment welcome here.

Case:

Coolermaster CM960

-I like the bottom-mounted PSU, but my new apt. has shag carpet, I may stick with this case and just put my PC on a platform. It'll be a nice excuse to build a cable management box.

Memory:

4gb Corsair Dominator (2x 2gb)

-$40 after $30 rebate on newegg, but if that doesn't last , I'd be open to something cheaper if any of you have had good experiences OCing with another brand.

If I were you, I would wait for phenom II to come out, it looks like it should perform well.

Then, if the numbers are good enough for you, you can just go with phenom II. If you can't do that within your budget, you will see a lot of people selling their old phenom's and you should be able to pick even a 9950 BE for relatively cheap.

What's the ETA on Phenom II? This build has a February 2009 deadline, I'm giving my current rig to my relative at the end of January.

[googling... 2009]

... Damnit. I thought I had timed my build pretty well, too.
