Thread Starter
I was wondering is it possible to make a Norton Ghost Partition image from a freshly installed Windows XP and use it to other computers with different specs?

I dont think it will work. You could image a new machine but then you would have to run a repair install to fix it. If you buy Acronis Echo workstation and Universal Restore you can move the image to a new machine and provide drivers for the Hard drive controller and it works great.

You could however, the serial keys would probably become invalid and want reactivating as the activation code sent to MS is determined by the hardware in your PC.
