New Fan Case Mod

Thread Starter

So, I decided to reverse my case fans and pick up a few more for future preparations of water cooling. I don't know when, but I have already have places for the radiators.

After making the top fans exhaust and the rear one intake, I needed to equalize the pressure. I installed a single fan in the middle divider of my case. I have to say it was not fun cutting it out with a jig saw. Kind of a tight fit. Need to make a new PSU mount so I can get the PSU up higher and put a 3rd fan on the bottom. What do you guys think?

It is actually. I like it a lot, it actually works well with my current setup. Why else would I buy a $330 case and make it worth about $600 with mods.

Yep, Its a Lian Li PC-V2100 Plus II edition. I think the Plus II is just a customized version done by performance-pcs.

thanks CR. I actually just drilled some new holes for the PSU so I could raise it up and get a 3rd fan and possibly a radiator soon in there. Pics if you want.

lol, sorry, what was I thinking...

The real issue was that if I flipped the PSU plate, the psu fan would be up against the divider suffocating it. I had to make new holes to flip it.
