You can using binds, but i never really messed with it. Check the vent helpfile im sure it tells you how.

Let me understand, you would like to setup multiple keys for the *push to talk* feature ?

If this is correct i can only tell you that a single key is used only for push to talk.

However the binding section, lets you add users and setup certain keys to speak with them.
In that case you could set bindings for this. I will glady give you a set of intructions.

Your normal hotkey for *push to talk* will work. As well as whatever key you set for your user friend.
So your normal hotkey must be changed or removed if you temporarily do not wish to use it.

In the main dialog box screen of Ventrilo.
Beside the bindings drop down box there is an arrow, click this at the right.
-> Select New
-> Enter a name " for the binding only "
-> Click the Add in bottom right corner
-> Set your hotkey (key you wish to use to speak with him)
-> use PTT advanced
-> Click OK
-> Choose User to User
-> In dropdown box labeled user names ( type in the direct name of your user/friend in the channel/server ) example: "Tactical "
-> click OK - click OK again *Finished*

Again in the main dialog box click the bindings drop down box and select " Tactical " or whatever you named the binding as.
Now the key you setup and your normal push to talk key will work.

Normal key will work ventrilo channel wide.
But the key you setup for tactical will be for him only.
Both of you do the same to speak with each other.

PS> In the transmit section and or Edit PTT advanced you can choose whether its channel wide, ventrilo server wide, or like i told you " user-to-user" for private talking only.
You choose what your push to talk key will do.
Just make sure when you open ventrilo for the certain purpose of speaking with tactical on a certain game, you load the binding you created for him before you get ready or begin play.

I think i covered everything, good luck.
