What effects do cars have? Global warming? Ha! It friggin' snowed in Las Vegas last week!!!

Calling me ignorant? A true characteristic of someone who's own ignorance>superiority complex>inferiority complex has really gone to their head!
I can't speak for the rest of Europe, but the UK's public transport went down the drain years ago.

Look. No one is forcing you to buy from STEAM. You don't need STEAM to live... So either pay the premium or wait until Valve changes the pricing scheme. Yes, I wouldn't be happy if games were that much more expensive, but I'd just go to my nearest retailer and get it for cheaper. It's like you are all complaining that you have to pay more but aren't willing to not buy from STEAM.

1€ ≠ 1$ because Europe ≠ North America and you're not exchanging currencies.

Take your weird expensive money and go cry yourself into another flood.

It's not that we are complaining about having to go some were else. STEAM can go to crap for all I care. Hell, I bought L4D from the shops and not from STEAM simply because I like a physical copy of a disc rather than downloading the damn thing.

I'm pissed at the fact that yet again we are blatantly being ripped off. Yet again we get the short end of the stick and yet again you damn Yanks tend to moan at us when if you were in our shoes there would be wold war 3!

Look down at us from your snooty noses, you're no different and certainly wouldn't act any different. We are all money driven idiots.

This whole thread stinks of whine, moan,
political rant and just general stereotyping.

Valve were in the wrong to start charging games at $ US = £ or euro
This has nothing to do with fuel prices, public transport or
global warming.

I just read this thread and thought wutff are you lot talking about?
Try using some basic logic before you let blind patriotism or whatever
cloud your better judgment.

It's because in the UK you get more oil so it costs less to send more oil there than in the US. Because we have less oil even though I live in Canada where there is Alberta which has a lot of oil. Alberta has oil that come from the sand and it costs a lot more than oil that's in underground pockets. That is to say that it is more expensive to take ot but its not more expensive.

Seriously why are guys talking about oil???
