Why so unstable for?

Thread Starter
I'm currently at 3.4ghz(425x8) with a q9450 Stable with everything on Normal voltages
Can i get this to 3.6ghz easily or will i have to start changing my other voltages, like the RAM, FSB or the MCH.
Currently my RAM is on 1020mhz and its 1066 RAM
Cause i have tried getting it to 3.6ghz but i had to change my Vcore to 1.325 and was extremly unstable ran max for 14minutes i was using Orthos to stress the CPU with Small FFT that ran okay for about 10minutes b4 i stopping it just to see if i could blend within 1minute of blending my comp locked up, if i could have some advice on how to stablize this i would be grateful

If you hit instability, bump one voltage at a time till you regain stability, then keep going. I would suggest bumping your cpu voltage first, then if that doesn't gain stability, take it back down and bump your ram voltage a tad, and if that doesn't work, take it back down, then bump northbridge.

Right, but NB before the RAM.

This is what i currently have, running idle it stays on windows for a good hour, when i run prime 95 it crashes in less than 10minutes, how come some ppl just get errors when running these stress programs, whereas i just crash or BSOD?
