Is it possible..?

Thread Starter
I was looking at some videos on Youtube earlier, and saw a few videos/guides on overclocking a Nintendo DS, gameboy Advanced, ect ect. , by soldering some wires and a small board inside of said handheld. And i was wondering, is it even possible to overclock an xbox 360 or some other console? Using the same method, or through your computer?

I assume it is possible seeing as a console is essentially a computer.

I think there are Certain Cables you can get to attach to your PC To change some codes on the Consoles to overclock them in some ways but I don't know about X360 I saw it done for N64 though Probably Possible

It's most likely possible; but you'd have to do some research to find out what modifications youd have to make to the circuit board to overclock it.

anythign that has a clock speed can be more or less overclocked. But with the 360 theres no point. most if not all games are capped at 30-60 with exception of cod4/waw air strikes rapeing ps3 and xbox

with old nes/gb/gba oc they where done to fix slowdowns when to many sprites (characters) where on the screen

im sure if you check out hackaday.com there will be a guide on xbox360 OC as they have guides for virtualy everythign to do with wii/xbox/ps3

but as i say, pointless, ur choice tho

after quick bit of research theres an app that will run on xbox360 linux that will OC the consoles FSB (built into CPU for 360) and will OC it but most users got crashes after a mere few mhz (xbox chip is at like 700mhz) so no point

Ok lets crack open the 360 and get a DICE setup going!

That would be epic..
