raid showing as 2 drives during install

Thread Starter
im trying to install a raid mirror setup with 2 1.5TB drives. i slipstreamed the drivers into a cd because the f6 method was not working. is it normal for both of the drives to show up during the install? they both show up as having the same disk, ID, and bus. is this fine?

The raid should show up as one drive. Atleast that's how my vista went. Seems like your OS isn't getting the drivers correctly.

You need to declare them as an array in bios first, installing the RAID drivers alone will not do the trick.

i have the raid set up in bios first. my hunch is that i need an updated raid bios. anyone know how to use the -x command that the asus website references for the p5n-t deluxe?
